We all feel complete shelter in Srila Gour Govinda Swami’s family, in the association of sincere and simple devotees. The purity, simplicity and unmotivated love of Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja and his unflinching faith and deep devotion to Sri Guru and Gauranga is attracting our hearts. This makes our spiritual desire to become real servants even stronger.
Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja opened a crying school and today especially we deeply feel ourselves as His students also. Simply by this small effort to glorify His Divine Grace, each devotee could get Sri Guru’s real mercy, and therefore were able to speak something from the core of their hearts for Guru and Krishna’s pleasure.
Srila Gour Govinda Swami is so dear to Krsna that as a result of His prayers, Krsna is agreeing to manifest Himself even in our lives, overlooking the fact of our complete disqualification.
By uncompromisingly following the instructions of Srila Prabhupada, Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja is showing us the example of a real disciple.
By following Srila Gour Govinda Swami’s instructions, by associating with His disciples, listening to His classes, reading His books and by taking part in His preaching programs, we are getting His mercy. Today devotees were with loving affection remembering the times when they were on Padayatra and Hare Krsna Utsava festivals in Orissa.
How much mercy and how much reciprocation from His Divine Grace Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja, we all got there! Remembering Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja’s words that the Padayatra never ends, we are trying our best to keep this mood alive.
A true Vaishnava is brave and determined in preaching the Absolute Truth, but at the same time he is very simple, meek and tolerant. Srila Gour Govinda Swami is our spiritual grandfather.
When we feel ourselves in special difficulty we run to Him and cry in His lap. The glory of such a pure devotee is that He is changing us by His unmotivated love. Being touched by this love, feelings of gratitude and a desire to change ourselves is arising in our hearts.
Srila Gour Govinda Swami was always praying to Gopal to be in the association of like minded devotees. By associating with such devotees who have one aim, we can feel this love and trust. This is the only place where the soul can be truly happy.
